Currently Kenya is aiming to create a globally competitive and prosperous nation with a high quality of life by its ‘Vision 2030′. project .The vision is anchored on three key pillars; economic, social and political Governance.

The Agricultural Sector contributed 24% in the total GDP of Kenya in year 2011 – as per the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics 2012.Kenya’s Agriculture Sector directly influences overall economic performance through its contribution to GDP. Periods of high economic growth rates have been synonymous with increased agricultural growth. Dear Organisers,
I have just gone through your web page and i want to use this opportunity to commend your idea (The Agritec Africa Exhibition and Conference)its awesome. I am from Nigeria and i work with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the department of Agricultural Extension. The Federal Minister of Agriculture who in line the President’s Transformation Agenda vision has began the Agricultural Transformation Agenda with its sole aim of transforming the Agricultural sector of the country into a much productive sector by getting farmers to see agriculture not just as an occupation but also as a business by promoting the value of various cash and food crops, motivating the farmers by providing them with incentives and up to date information on Agricultural best practices and creating an enabling environment for Agricultural as a business to strive in such a way that it would stand the test of time. It is for this reason, i want to commend you once again and ask that you extend the courtesy to the Nigerian Minister of Agriculture as this would be beneficent for us all. If the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwummi Adesina is invited to come for this conference it would go a long way to strengthen the relationship between both countries, Africa and the world as a whole by facilitating agricultural markets awarness towards Africa while creating oppurtunity for new and emerging markets to be discovered. Secondly, i will Improving Agricultural trade and Productivity Investment by both private and public partners and finally create a structure to promote the growth of Agricultural. I will get you the address to the Ministry at your request. Please the formal invitation should be typed and mailed.
I also want to ask a favor from you . Please can you also state CLEARLY (WITH MY NAME PRINTED BOLD) on the invitation letter that i accompany the Minster’s entourage and to this conference. It would give me great pleasure and joy if i am able to come to kenya for the exibition and conference. (I am a Graduate junior officer and have not been to an actually conference on Agriculture) This would be my first oppurtunity. My telephone number is +2347062460395 or +2348099448525. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards
Agam Michael I.
